About the Course
Hi!
After having worked at numerous schools worldwide and with thousands of students, I realized that I’d love to guide young students who are gifted in writing and/or drawing. Students will benefit greatly by learning what I learnt in how to become a self-published author, and possibly become a globally celebrated author, like me!
This class inspires and empowers students who want to explore their gift of writing and/or drawing. Using my own children’s series, “Noko The Knight”, as the base of this class, I colorfully teach students in Grades 3 and up how to brainstorm and develop their own unique story, step-by-step!
Furthermore, we discuss the serious implications of plagiarism, and how creating something of their own will not only keep them out of trouble, but also boost their sense of accomplishment and pride.
As a special gift, I decided to include extra material to help students actively and successfully pursue their writing career, if they choose! These include:
14 Videos taking you through each step of the writing process
A writing assignment, broken down neatly
A comprehensive self-publishing checklist, with tips! (part of my Masterclass License)
A complimentary copy of my NEW tale called “Noko The Knight: What’s YOUR Tribe’s Treasure?” to inspire students & help encourage them. It even has coloring pages for those moments when a break is needed to spark some creativity!
My very own affirmations that I practice everyday, to help students build their confidence as authors and illustrators, and to remind them that each of us are gifted, often in different, yet very special ways.
To top it all off, you’ll be proudly awarded a colorful certificate after completion!
I also remind students that is our duty to explore our gifts (whatever they may be) so that we may share them with the world and make a positive impact. After all, how would you like the world to remember YOU someday?
